Founded in 1988, the Alpha Pi Epsilon Alumni Association (APEAA)
strives to continue the philosophy of the fraternity beyond the halls
of Doane College. Members of the APEAA enjoy the brotherhood
between their former classmates as well as the bonds they share with
those who came before them and all future APEs.
The APEAA meets twice a year on Doane's campus, both at Homecoming and Greek
Week. Officers are elected every other year during the Greek Week meeting. Aside
from the bi-annual meetings, we have several other regular events. There are
camping trips, poker nights and trips to sporting events, both locally and abroad.
These and many other activities help make us Doane's most active Greek alumni
association.
In the Spring of 2006, the Alumni Association will be awarding it's first education stipend
to an APE active or an alum that is pursuing a higher degree. We're very excited to see years
of planning culminate into this becoming an annual award.
The past has been kind to us and we're very much looking forward to what the future has to offer.
We have over 300 members in six countries and that number continues to grow. As our numbers rise
with each graduating class, we'll continue to be more active both with the actives and within our
respective communities all around the globe.
